Impacting Your World: It’s Social Media Week

Los Angeles is one of twelve cities hosting Social Media Week events, now through September 23, 2011. The other cities are: Beirut, Berlin, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Glasgow, Milan, Moscow, Rio De Janeiro, Sao Paulo And Vancouver. Most of the events are free and are aimed at increasing our understanding of how social media fits into our daily lives.


Some of the uncoming events include: Startups and Stilettos ™: How Three, Social Media Savvy, Female Entrepreneurs Utilize Social Tools, New Technology Startup Demos and Happy Hour, TV Goes Social @ What’s Trending, Connecting to Los Angeles: Creating Civic Life in LA, Got fans? Engage them deeply and frequently with social storytelling, Social Photo Walk Los Angeles, Social Media: Taking Fashion to New Heights, Leveraging social media to promote your event, Social Media for Social Good | Solving Problems Using Social Media: A Workshop, Social Media in LA’s Restaurant Industry and The Power Of Youth Voice – Solving The Problem Of Cyberbullying.
