Turkey Burgers With A Side Of I’m Awesome!

Burgers- I’m convinced that a burger in America belongs in its own food group but growing up Armenian I have never been an addict. When I got married though, I realized real quick that I better figure out how to make a darn good burger that is also healthy or hubby is going to start looking like a patty melt! Eeek! So after I tried many recipes that all fell short of his cravings for something juicy and meaty I resorted to what I do best… Chuck the recipe and improvise! What followed next was culinary magic with a side of letus and tomatoes! What will you need?
2 lbs of lean ground turkey
1/3 cup each of  yellow and orange bell pepper, finely diced
1 green bell pepper finely diced
1 red bell pepper, finely diced
1 small onion, diced
5 garlic cloves, pressed
2 Tablespoons cumin
1 Table spoon paprika
6 Tablespoons of McKormick’s Montreal Steak  seasoning
black pepper and/or a jalapeno pepper, to taste
Dice bell peppers and onions.

Mix all spices and produce together first then add it to the meat.

I weigh my patties (5oz each) as I put them together to get perfect same size portions.

If you got a barbecue grill I would throw them on that, but if you’re like me and you don’t then a cast iron grill over your stove top with some olive oil is the next best thing! You can also throw these puppies in a grilling pan, just adjust the cooking time. I grill these for about 6 min on each side when I put them on the cast iron grill -ENJOY!
