Beats For Boobs Hosting Oct 19 at Key Club In Hollywood-Music/Art/Food/Fashion!

Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is partnering up with some amazing community fundraisers this month with the first event being kicked off by Beats for Boobs. Wednesday Oct 19 starting at 7:00 you will enjoy LA’s best in art, fashion, food and music at the world famous Key Club. The coolest part of it all? One-hundred percent of the proceeds from ticket sales, merchandise and raffles will go to the B4BC Survivorship Fund as well as the BUSTED Foundation. B4BC is a youth-focused non-profit foundation that advocates early detection + a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention. B4BC Survivorship Fund helps breast cancer survivors with nature-based wellness retreats, giving survivors a new take on life, health and attitude. This is a must go-to event in support of a great cause. The goal of the event is to help further establish this much needed program for the survivor community. You must be 21 and over and you can purchase your tickets here as well as  get more info . If for some reason you can’t make it this Wednesday then show your support through your wallet and donate!

Women every year go un-checked for Breast Cancer and unfortunately the statistics are not getting any better. About 1 in 8 women in the United States (12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of their lifetime.  What’s also more shocking is that 70-80% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. These occur due to genetic abnormalities that happen as a result of the aging process and life in general, rather than inherited mutations. That means you can never be too careful and you can never rule your self out because it’s not in your family history.  So “check” your self before you wreck your self! (Sorry, that was my inner crazy again.) If you still can’t figure out how to check yourself, go here for a great guide and over view.  See you guys there!!
