Upcoming: Punk’s not Dead

Do you want to hit a gig with some genuine energy? Do you want to see giant mohawks and slam pits? Check out what punk rock’s now generation is doing. Rick Rodd, Matt G Herrerra, Jason Failure, Marco Irigoyen, and Alfred John Baca make up 211 Robbery in Progress. They will be keeping the scene alive Friday night at Hardcore Industries Warehouse in Costa Mesa Friday night along with The Cause, Dirty Hammer, and The Idiots.

All ages. Doors open at 9pm. “Tickets are $5 presale or $7 at the door. Food, Drinks and a smoking patio. No outside food or drinks. NO in and outs.”

Then if that just whets your appetite, Saturday night is a huge punk-o-rama in the OC with 211 Robbery in Progress, Vindictive Bitches from San Diego, Marauding Ghouls and more. Pyrate Punx Summit Meeting at 4:00pm, Show at 7PM. Keep an eye on facebook for the location.

Pyrate Punx is an international nonprofit group to set up gigs, and help fellow punks with booking, crash pads and emergencies on their tours.
