A.A. Bondy at Natural History Museum’s First Friday: May 4

Otherwise known as ScottIt’s that time of year again for the Los Angeles Natural History Museum’s First Friday concert series.  Coming up on May 4th is enigmatic singer/songwriter A.A. Bondy, whose latest album Believers is out on Fat Possum Records, along with my favorite record last year, his previous release When the Devil’s Loose.  Also playing the May 4th show, which begins at 8pm, is Father John Misty (ex-Fleet Foxes drummer) and resident DJ Anthony Valdez featuring Valida Carroll.

Come early at 6:30pm, to catch author Amy Stewart‘s comic but informative discussion on “Wicked Bugs–Fearsome and Ferocious Creatures in Your Backyard and Beyond.”

Presale tickets for non-members, designed to bypass the usually long lines and guarantee you a spot, are $18.
