I’d Eat That: Summer Long Wine Tasting Series Launches at Santa Monica Place, Wednesday May 9

I love the way the folks at Santa Monica Place reinvented the space in 2010.  They took an old, closed in mall and tore the roof of the mutha!  This summer you can soak up all that shopping-time sun while soaking up some wine too.

Tonight, The SummerTASTE Series kicks off a six month long session of wine, women, and song under the stars at Santa Monica place.

Each month will provide a different focus on enjoyable wines and the foods that go with them.  Tonight’s session is all about reds, rosés and cabernets.

Here’s what you can look for in the coming months:

All events take place on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 PM.  Tickets including wine and refreshments can be purchased in advance for $50 or $60 at the door if available.  Series passes are available for $180.  To warm your heart along with your liver, the event benefits the children’s cancer and aids research charity, The T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION.

For more information, check out the event website at Wine Cloud.
