Restaurant Roundup: Mother’s Day

Haven Gastropub + Brewery in Pasadena will be opening early to serve a Mother’s Day Brunch. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, diners can enjoy Eggs Florentine; Strawberry Pancakes; or a Breakfast Burrito. Haven will be pouring brunch cocktails such as “Tie Your Mother Down” and a Haven Bellini.

The legendary Dominick’s, will be serving brunch on their beautiful outdoor patio.  $12 bottles of sparkling wine and $5 carafes of orange juice· Ricotta Cheese & Fresh Blueberry Pancakes· Scrambled Eggs Bruschetta on Grilled Baguette with Roasted Tomatoes & Pesto· Ricotta Gnocchi with Tomato, Basil & Pecorino· Eggs Fungi poached with Roasted Mushrooms, Grilled Bread and Fennel Pollen Hollandaise· Ricotta Fritters with Huckleberry Compote & Crème Fraiche Whipped Cream

Drago Centro, one of our Downtown favorites is the ultimate in luxe dining. The restaurant will be offering a Mother’s Day lunch from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM. A special three course prix-fixe menu is offered for $39. including offering such as Zucchini Agnolotti, Ricotta Cheese, Brown Butter·Diver Scallops, Confit Duck, and Salted Caramel Gelato.

At Susan Feniger’s STREET Co-Chefs Susan Feniger and Kajsa Alger have created “a menu of international delights.” Mother’s Day brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and diners may order a la carte or share the whole menu with their table for $35 per person. The menu includes Marcona Almond and Goat Cheese Fritters· Danish Chestnut Popovers· Soft Indian Semolina and Crispy Soft Shell Crab.
