Slaw Dogs Moves in on Duarte

The Beat’s favorite dog, Slaw Dogs, is opening its third location tomorrow night in the city of Duarte. Join them from 5pm-10pm for music, raffles, and free tastes!

Ray Byrne opened the first Slaw Dogs in Pasadena at the end of 2009. He impressed foodies like Jonathon Gold with  27 standard toppings, including sesame mayo, curry ketchup, pickled onion, jalapeno, chipotle mayo, and even sport peppers if you want to make a Chicago-style dog. 25 custom toppings, for an additional 99-cents, give you choices like bacon, pastrami, roasted pasilla peppers, jalapeno, chili, kimchi, thai-slaw, a fried egg and a number of different cheeses.

In August of 2011, Ray opened a second Slaw Dogs in Simi Valley. Now Ray is bringing the “Green Monster,” and “The TNT Super Dog” to the San Gabriel Valley. Best of luck to Slaw Dogs in their quest for world-wide domination!
