Calabasas

The City of Calabasas Fireworks Spectacular includes music, a family fun zone, inflatable rides, and fireworks. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Calabasas High School, 22855 W. Mulholland Hwy., Calabasas. Gates open at 5 pm, and fireworks begin at 9 pm. $10; children under 2 are admitted free.

Carson

LA Galaxy will take on the Philadelphia Union on July 4th with post game fireworks at the Home Depot Center in Carson. 7:30 PM $20 and up, check Goldstar.com for discount tickets.

Hollywood

What goes together better than Barry Manilow and patriotic music? Enjoy the fireworks from the comfort of your Hollywood Bowl box seat while sipping a cool, buttery chardonnay. 2301 N Highland Ave, Hollywood, CA 90068. 7:30pm. $220.

Long Beach

Aquarium of the Pacific will be throwing a BBQ and fireworks viewing party, allowing you to enjoy the Aquarium at night. 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802. 6pm-10pm.  $37 per adult (12+) and $29 per child.

The Queen Mary presents its famous fireworks show along with BBQ (additional price), funnel cakes, DJs and 2 stages with live bands. Adults $39.95, $19.95 for children, free for active military.

Los Angeles

Exposition Park will hold its 10th annual 4th of July extravaganza. Beginning at 12 noon, KJLH will present live entertainment on stage at the east end of Christmas Tree Lane, just north of the Sports Arena. There will also be food vendors and activites.  The best vantage points from which to view the show would be Christmas Tree Lane, as well as the South Lawn – immediately adjacent to the Natural History Museum. The 60 minute fireworks display begins at 9pm. Admission is free.  Parking during the hours of 8am to 5pm will be $10, and free after 5pm.

The Los Angeles Dodgers game against the Cincinnati Reds will be followed by a fireworks spectacle. 6:10 pm  Dodger Stadium 

Malibu

Fireworks will be launched from barges off of the beach at 21500 block of PCH, the 22300 block of PCH, and the 27900 block of PCH. 9pm. FREE

Marina del Rey

4th of July Fireworks in Marina del Rey will be launched from a barge after sunset between Fisherman’s Village and the Breakwater . Best viewing from land at Burton Chace Park. 9 pm. FREE

Pacific Palisades

Parades and fireworks not enough for you? Howsabout some skydivers? Pacific Palisades will bring you all three, starting at 1:50pm. The parade will march along Sunset Boulevard between Via de la Paz and Drummond. Palisades High School’s Stadium by the Sea will host a concert and fireworks. $5 online, $6 at the door, free for kids, $10 for guaranteed parking.

Pasadena

Expect plenty of food and entertainment at the Rose Bowl’s 86th annual “Americafest.” There will be a 30-minute fireworks display, and yes, there will be motocross. 9:05pm. Tickets are $16.85, free for children under 7. Parking is $20.

Porter Ranch

Fireworks will be accompanied by moon bounces, a color guard presentation, and food vendors. Shepherd of the Hills Church, 19700 Rinaldi Street, Porter Ranch.  4:30 pm to 10 pm. FREE

Redondo Beach

For a kid-centric day, hit the Seaside Lagoon for crafts, kiddie parade and music followed by fireworks. Music will be simulcast on Jack 93.1 FM

San Pedro

Pedro has one of the most patriotic events with live U.S. military exhibits, tours of a Navy frigate, armed forces, and U.S. Coast Guard demonstrations, displays by the LA City Fire Department’s firefighting boat, and the Washington Artillery Reenactment group followed by fireworks. Cabrillo Beach, 3720 Stephen M. White Dr., San Pedro. FREE

Studio City

The backlot of CBS will be welcoming guests for fireworks viewing. CBS Studio Center, 4024 Radford Ave., Studio City4:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Adults $20, children 12 and under $10, children 5 and under free. Wristbands for the rooftop fireworks viewing plus general admission are $20. It’s worth it for the Arc Handbell Choir.

Woodland Hills

Dennis P. Zine July 4th Extravaganza lights up the west San Fernando Valley festival which also features a live concert. Warner Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. 6 pm to 9:30 pm.
