Calling all families: Every Saturday and Sunday this month at 11am, The Actors’ Gang presents Shakespeare’s The Tempest live in Media Park in Culver City. A free show designed for kids, this 40 minute version of the play features Star Wars characters, music, dance and audience participation.
This is the sixth annual summer family theater in the park for The Actors’ Gang, sponsored by quite a team: the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program, Sony Pictures, The National Endowment for the Arts, Dwight Stuart Youth Fund, The Annenberg Foundation and James Irvine Foundation.
Media Park is located in front of the Ivy Substation: 9070 Venice Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232.
