I have always enjoyed attending food shows, with big convention halls full of food purveyers from every part of the spectrum offering samples. Now Epicurean Fest scales the same type of show down into a more palatable event for the public. The beautiful Vibiana downtown will be stuffed full of gourmet goodies, including cheeses, spices, coffee, tea, charcuterie, and more. Add a DJ, cooking demos and entertainment and you have the makings for a fantastic day. Did we mention there will be wine and cocktails? You can anticipate:
- Specialty Foods: charcuterie, cheeses, spices, olive oils, mushrooms, organic chocolate, meat, fowl, fish and produce.
- Luxury Wines: robust reds, exotic whites, exciting rosé wines are all part of the mix, but don’t forget dessert.
- High-End Spirits: vodka, whiskey, scotch and beyond. This line-up will also be part of the mixology contest in the evening session.
