Breakfast of Champions: Antigua Bread

I usually think of Mr T’s Bowl when I am near Figueroa and Ave 57. But now I think of a delicious Cuban breakfast. Antigua Bread is a comfortable cafe with good coffee and free wifi. I could hang out here all day. Not only because they serve breakfast all day. All day long.

The “Antigua Breakfast” includes 3 eggs, flavorful black beans, plantains fritos, and salty queso fresca. Maybe it’s the Anglophile in me, but I think all breakfasts should be served with beans and the deep fried plantains¬†are like dessert for breakfast. It feels like the kind of authentic breakfast you would get in Cuba or Florida. And yes, I ate this breakfast at 1pm.
