Presented by Liz D Publicity & Promotions, Book’d in Burbank is a “bookish social gathering” at Theatre Banshee on January 10th. The event includes short readings from local Young Adult (YA), Mystery, and Romance authors, stand-up literary comedy by Jordan Likover, a cash bar, book giveaways and a raffle, as well as a children’s book drive to benefit Reading Partners, a non-profit for youth literacy.
The authors panel features L.A. – based novelists Suzanne Lazear (YA fairytale steampunk), Amy Spalding (YA contemporary), Kaitlin O’Riley (historical romance), Rebekah Weatherspoon (paranormal lesbian romance), Cash Peters (humorous mystery/thriller), and Diane Vallere (chick lit mystery). Raffle prizes are provided by Upbound Books and Esparto Studio.
Doors open at 7:30 and the events begin at 8pm; Tickets are $10 and available through Eventbrite.
