How lucky am I? This is where I was Saturday-poolside at the Thompson Hotel, with my (cough) “work daughter,” getting braided and styled at the Joico booth by Joico’s celeb colorist George Papanikolas (Kardashians, Nicole Richie) alongside with the amazing Mika Fowler (Olivia Munn and Annalynne McCord), working her magical fingers, while sipping our new favorite drink courtesy Owl’s Brew (thank you, The Teaologist!)
Photobooths were the highlight of the day with Joico’s Instagram photobooth, “Joico Wow’s Your Vows” while on the other side of the cabanas we lounged next to The Voice’s Christina Milian and adorable daughter Violet at the Olay booth which featured their brand new product, Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream & Lash Duo. Here guests got to try and take home Olay’s new product while checking out the#OlayWowEyes app & got to see our eyes light up Times Square!
Other celebs such as NBC’s 1st Look’s TV Host, Ali Fedotowsky got her nails done by Q Salon. While guests and their mothers enjoyed getting pampered with makeup touch ups by Stila Cosmetics, many prominent beauty bloggers flocked to Ziba’s corner to get mendhi’d and eyebrow threaded. Other celebs such as DWTS’s Gleb Savchenko and wife Elena Samodanova, Claudia Lee, Adrienne Maloof, and Nicole Murphy enjoyed the sounds of the DJ and the Hollywood Sun. For the 5th year in a row- Mothers definitely got their day to be treated like celebrities- Happy Mother’s day!
