The Perfect Little Black Dress

Did you ever see that one thing-that one item on a hanger or a mannequin that calls your name, sings out to you, saying, “I belong to you and no one else?” I think all of us have had this happen, n’est–ce pas? Once, on Portobello Road, with nary a pound to my name for the rest of the month, I laid eyes on a midnight blue velvet cape with black frog clasps, and well, that was that.

That happened to me when I laid eyes on this:_7890090

This gorgeous number is the ‘Roche’ Mixed Media Blouson Dress from Sandro and it won’t stop saying things to me like, “Oui, oui, you know you want me.” Just when I try and say no, Sandro founder Evelyne Chetrite’s sister, Judith Milgrom’s line, Maje, pipes up: “Look at me!”

Now, where was I?
