Upcoming: First Annual Thai Food Festival in LA Sunday at Paramount

torrmemorial 344 (Custom)This Sunday from 3:30pm-6pm Paramount Pictures Studio will be the glamorous location of the first Thai Food Festival: BKK 2 LAX. (Bankok to LAX). Hosted by Thai Culinary Ambassador and celebrity Jet Tila the event hopes to turn you on to the five fundamental flavors of “YUM”—spicy, sweet, sour, salty, and bitter. “My family established the first Thai market in the U.S., and to see how popular the cuisine has grown makes me so proud,” says Tila. “I want to continue to show others how approachable Thai culture is by spotlighting our cuisine, customs, and national flair at the city’s first annual Thai Food Festival in my hometown.”

The event will include culinary discussion panels and demonstrations with celebrity guest chefs, food and drink tastings, and live entertainment. Discussions and demos will be led by culinary luminaries including Evan Kleiman (KCRW’s “Good Food”), Susan Feniger (Street), Sang Yoon (Lukshon) and David LeFevre (MB Post, Fishing with Dynamite).
