Le Reverie, the L.A.-based Goth-Metal band known for their unique musical mix of progressive rock, metal, classical symphony and Goth, has three special shows coming up in the LA/OC area. The award-winning band, fronted by powerful vocalist Allie Jorgen, is also featured in the upcoming Gothic Thriller movie “Lake Eerie” with their song, “The Dream,” as the movie’s theme song. With albums like 2013’s Dark Symphony, Le Reverie is rapidly becoming one of the best live performance groups to see in the world.

For the first show, Le Reverie rocks the OC with a performance at the City National Grove of Anaheim. The show, on Friday, September 12 at 8:00pm, is good for all ages. Among the songs that Le Reverie will be playing will be their new hot single, “Hounds From Hell”. Also on the bill with Le Reverie are Prong and Rattlehead.

Coming up the next night, Le Reverie brings their hauntingly beautiful music to the Rock The Boat Festival at Long Beach’s Queen Mary. Saturday night, September 13, they will join a roster of artists performing at the all-day all-night music fest. The fun starts on the Queen Mary at 11:00am and runs until 1:00am. All ages are welcome, with full bars for those of age. This is a perfect location for Le Reverie, who may even stir up some of the spirits on the supposedly haunted ship.

Next month, Le Reverie joins several groups at Malone’s in Santa Ana at 6:00pm on October 18th for the 3rd Annual Rockers Against Cancer Benefit Show. Le Reverie will join headliners The Sweet, the ’70s glam-rockers known for major hits such as ‘Ballroom Blitz’, Love is Like Oxygen’ and ‘Fox on the Run’. Also headlining is the McGrath Project, featuring bassist Gary McGrath and special appearances by Chet McCracken (Doobie Bros.), Phil Parlapiano (Social Distortion) and many more of Gary’s friends. Other bands on this very special night will include Voodoo Sex Cult, Highway Ryders, Made in America, Ronny North, Prey on the Fallen, Not Liable and Dirty Eyes.

For Rockers Against Cancer 3, Le Reverie is not only providing great music but is helping to raise money for cancer awareness and research. Upcoming in The LA Beat will be a very special interview with Allie Jorgen about Le Reverie’s music and the reasons for her support of Rockers Against Cancer.

Ticket information for all three shows can be found through Le Reverie’s website as well as each venue.

About Ed Simon

Ed is a native of Los Angeles who loves food and food cultures. Whether he's looking for the best ceviche in Colombia, the best poke in Hawaii, the best tequila in Jalisco, the best Bun bo Hue in Vietnam or the best Taiwanese Beef Roll in Los Angeles, it's all good food! He also loves a good drink. He's had Mai Tais in Hawaii, Bourbon in Kentucky, Tequila in Mexico and Rum in Jamaica. His wine escapades have taken him to Napa, Sonoma, the Willamette Valley and the Santa Ynez Valley. And he's had beer all over the world! Music is another of Ed's passion, writing and interviewing many classic rock, rock and blues musicians. Getting the great stories of road experiences from them is a particular delight. Traveling also fits in with Ed's writing, exploring all over to find the most interesting places to visit, even in out of the way areas.
