Sunday from 4pm until 8pm, enjoy the best food that cities like Silver Lake, Eagle Rock, Atwater and Los Feliz have to offer. Their vibrant restaurant scene will be featured at the annual Taste of the Eastside at the historic Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. Besides unlimited tastings, there will be family-friendly activities and live music. The Podunk Poets play honkytonk and traditional country music, while soul singer Redd Carter layers “haunted melodies over troubled chords…” DJs Raul Campos and Garth Trinidad from KCRW will be spinning, and you can also expect some house music from DJ Aire.

Local favorites like Xoia Vietnamese Eats, Little Dom’s and Malo Restaurant will be representing. You will also have the opportunity to taste offerings from relative newcomers like Maximiliano, L & E Oyster Bar, and El Condor. We are especially looking forward to trying Knuckle and Claw, the hot new seafood spot in Silverlake. Gigi’s Bakery, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Pazzo Gelato, and Brandy’s Sweet Temptations will be ready to satisfy your sweet tooth. Libations will be provided by Silver Lake Wine, Golden Road Brewing and Greenbar Craft Distillery. Eagle Rock Juice Co. and G&B Coffee will also be providing refreshments.

Tickets are $50 advance/$60 at door. Premium tickets that allow you entry into the cooking demos plus a bar flight are $60 advance/$70 at door. VIP tickets provide you with the same benefits as the premium ticket, plus one hour early entry to the event and a swag bag. Kids from 2 to 12 get in for $8.
