Tomorrow, June 7, from 12:30pm until 4pm, Los Angeles’ Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry will bring together LA’s best chefs in their continuing effort to end childhood hunger in America. The event will be hosted by LA reporter Mar Yvette and takes place in Media Park, which features grassy picnic areas, mature shade trees and indoor bathrooms (a feature not to be underestimated at outdoor events).

Participants include LA Beat Favorites Rory Hermann of Barrel and Ashes, Marcel Vigneron of Beefsteak, Antonia Lofaso of Black Market Liquor Bar and Scopa Italian Roots, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger of Border Grill, Michael Hung of Faith & Flower, Chef Brooke Williamson of Hudson House & Triple, Ray Garcia of Broken Spanish and B.S. Taqueria, Vartan Abgaryan of Cliff’s Edge, Akasha Richmond of Sambar, Freddy Vargas of Scarpetta, Kris Morningstar of Terrine, and Bruce Kalman of Union. John Park of Quenelle and Valerie Gordon of Valerie Confections will be satisfying your sweet tooth.

Beverages will be provided by Anchor Distilling, La Sirea Mezcal, Eagle Rock Brewery, Henriot, Martian Ranch and Vineyards, as well as other notable brewers, distillers and vintners. Intelligentsia, Dry Soda and Voss will be available for teetotalers.
