July 29th, 2015, from 7-10 PM La Luz de Jesus will be hosting the book release party for “Late Nights with Bob Dylan” by Tony Marsico. The event will include a reading, book signing, and live music by Cisco & Dewey.
Tony Marsico chronicles his 30 years as a musician playing with classic LA bands the Plugz and Cruzados, then his transition into working as a session musician. He has played bass for Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Roger Daltrey, Marianne Faithful, Dr. John, Matthew Sweet, and of course, Bob Dylan. Tony’s current projects include the lounge band, The Martini Kings.
Around 2004, he met up with vocalist and harmonica player Darran “Dewey” Falcone and started collaborating on songs. Their careers took them in different directions, but they reunited last year. Now Cicsco & Dewey will perform a live set at this book reading and signing. Tony Marsico will also be a guest on Luxuria Music’s radio show “Over Under Sideways Down” from 3-4 PM today
