“ROW”: Reggae-Themed Roller Disco This Saturday

Re/Creation Cafe will transform the nightclub Circus Disco into a roller rink this Saturday for its monthly event, “ROW – Rave on Wheels”. Attendees can either skate or dance among costumed characters, performance artists, hula hoopers, magicians and more. This month’s theme is “One Love”, so wearing green, yellow and red is recommended, and reggae and electronic beats will be spun by DJs like LiquorBox, AUDIOMOE, Miles DiPaola, Eric Starr and Jason Stemmler. There will also be a live set by reggae band Prime Livity, as well as Acro-Yoga (I had to look that up) and Hookah Lounges. The event starts at 8pm, but come early for a free, one-hour yoga session led by Cat Meyer.

According to Re/creation Cafe, “ROW is a party with purpose. Our intention is to create a unique experience that brings people together in a positive, authentic way, and allows us to celebrate that kid-spirit in each of us. It all starts with you. Get ready to ROW!”
