Friday, November 6th, it’s time to don your Hawaiian shirt and voodoo glow-in-the-dark necklace, hop on your skateboard and head over to La Luz de Jesus for a delicious group show of Tiki mugs and totems, seductive island ladies, and shrunken heads with stogies protruding from their lips.

Lee Joseph will be DJ-ing, providing a festive aural melee to match a very colorful and impressive group show at this Silverlake Institution. You can also enjoy a live performance by Tommy Tokioko. Actual Tiki drink mugs will dare you not to take them home and fill them with Hawiian punch, a pint of rum and a half a pineapple. There will also be paintings with bamboo frames and other limited edition goodies tempting you to buy. Featured artists include Michelle Bickford, Big Toe, Scott Scheidly, Doug Horn and Ken Ruzik. You definitely don’t want to miss this!
