old_beacon_street_fountain_160323

is this the oldest water drinking fountain in my pedro town? well, hard to know so we call it the “old beacon street fountain” where some of the town wanted to provide water maybe w/the other fluids flowing then. hey, it still works, I drank from it. what a trip it was lost for many years after lots of the old downtown bars and flop/whorehouses were raised not long after I got here from virginia but then again found and restored, yatta! and speaking of beacon street, here’s rich polysorbate‘s “beacon street” piece that might be able to relate a couple of things… or maybe not!
