This year’s Taste of the Nation will be taking place Sunday, June 05, 2016 from 1pm to 4pm in Media Park, which features grassy picnic areas, mature shade trees and indoor bathrooms (a feature not to be underestimated at outdoor events). Los Angeles’ Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry will bring together LA’s best chefs in their continuing effort to end childhood hunger in America. The chefs will be providing delicious bites to enjoy while you stroll through the park sipping craft cocktails.

The Chef Chair of the event this time around is LA Beat favorite, Bruce Kalman (Union, Knead & Co.). Additional celebrated chefs participating at this year’s festival include Chef Ray Garcia (Broken Spanish), Michael Hung (Viviane) Susan Feniger and Kajsa Alger (Bluewindow), Alvin Cailin (Egg Slut/Ramen Champ), Chris Oh (Hanjip), Steve Samson (Sotto), Kris Morningstar (Terrine) and Josiah Citrin (Charcoal Venice). Prepare yourself for some delicious creations from Cake Monkey, La Brea Bakery, Salt and Straw, and more.
