Son of Monsterpalooza Returns to Burbank

Over the last eight years, Monsterpalooza has become internationally recognized as one of the better horror events in the country. And since one Monsterpalooza a year wasn’t enough to fill the demand, Son of Monsterpalooza was born in 2012 to bring you double the monstrous fun! This weekend you can join the party at the Marriott Burbank Hotel and Convention Center.

Get the willies at special film screenings and movie previews. Meet creators, innovators, and special celebrity guests from the worlds of Horror, Science Fiction and Fantasy. Show off your best costume for a chance to win cold hard cash in the Saturday night costume contest. Attend the glamorous Miss Killifornia Pageant. Shop for products, art and collectibles from a selection of over 150 exhibitors selling one-of-a-kind creations.

kyraschonNot only that, there will be a “Re-animator” reunion! AND a “The Hills Have Eyes” reunion! Special guests this year include Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, The Frighteners), Dee Wallace  (E.T., The Howling, The Hills Have Eyes), Bruce Abbott (Re-Animator, Bride of Re-Animator), Denis O’Hare (True Blood, American Horror Story), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes, The Devil’s Rejects), and Ben Fransham (Ash vs. The Evil Dead, What We Do in the Shadows). This is your chance to finally get that picture with Michael Berryman! Plus there will be a once-in-a-lifetime appearance of Russ Streiner, Kyra Schon and Judith O’Dea of “Night of the Living Dead,” the zombie film that started it all.

One day tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday cost $25. Or get a 3-day pass for $60. Get your tickets in advance; they are $30 at the door.
