Presale Tickets on Sale Now for Tacolandia 2017 with our Special Code

Now in its 5th year, Tacolandia is fast becoming one of the biggest and most popular food events in Los Angeles. On Saturday, June 17th, from 3pm until 7pm the event will bring more than 120 taco vendors to El Pueblo de Los Angeles. That may seem like a long time in the future, but The event sells out fast and VIP tickets never make it to the general admission sales.

Curated by Tacorizzo Bill Esparza, who won a James Beard award for writing about tacos, Tacolandia combines the traditional and non-traditional. Some of our favorite participants are Coraloense, Amor Y Tacos, Chichen Itza, Cielito Lindo, Broken Spanish, Ceviche Project, Burritos La Palma, Mexikosher, Cacao Mexicatessen, Cuisine, El Tepeyac, Carnitas El Momo, Salazar,  Aqui es Texcoco, Coni’ Seafood, Dia de los Puercos, Petty Cash, Pez Cantina, Guerrilla Tacos, Mariscos Jalisco, and Yuca’s Restaurants. There will also be sweets from Monarca Bakery, Marscapone Cheesecake, and McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams. Plus mariachi music and cash bars.

Esparza’s list “…draws mostly from Los Angeles (the taco Capitol of the U.S.) but we also source from nearby Mexico, San Diego and Orange County. Tacos are not just food, they’re a way of life, and here at LA Weekly’s Tacolandia is where your [taco] dreams come true.”

General Admission tickets will be available for $45. A limited number of VIP admission tickets will be available for $65. VIP Admission tickets include all general admission perks plus a VIP gift bag, separate entrance, and access to an exclusive VIP lounge. Presale tickets using our special code are on sale now.
