Tomorrow, March 26th, head to North Hollywood for Vegan Street Fair LA. From 11am-7pm 150 vegan and vegan-friendly vendors will be slinging their wares. Entrance is free. Food vendors will be selling small bites from $1 to $4 as well as full-size plates. It will all be happening on Chandler Blvd between Bakman and Vineland with a beer garden at The Federal Bar.

Chef Kajsa Alger of Blue Window is whipping up Tornado Potatoes Nacho Style and Fried Proper’s Pickles. World Empanadas is offering their popular Lentil and Quinoa empanadas as well as Soy Chorizo, Pinto Beans and Rice and my favorite — Mixed berries. Check out the Cauliflower Tacos and jackfruit Tacos from Trejo’s Tacos. Other LA Beat favorites include Donut Friends, Hugo’s Tacos, and Follow Your Heart.

DJ Gianna will be spinning all day and you can enjoy a performance by vegan rap artist GREY at 4pm. Other entertainment includes stilt walkers, balloon artists and face painters. Due to state regulations only service animals are allowed. The North Hollywood stop on The Red Line is only a few blocks away from the event. The event’s info page predicts 20,000 attendees. That probably adds up to long lines at the food vendors, so arrive early to nosh. Elitists can purchase a $40 VIP wristband that acts as a fastpass and allows you to skip the line at food and drink vendors. Purchase a wristband.  FAQs. Map and Menus.
