On Sunday May 7, 2017, the Concours d’Elegance took place at Greystone Mansion. It was a beautiful breezy Sunday afternoon, despite the last minute rain showers during the awards presentation. Friends of Greystone and the City of Beverly Hills collaborated to bring the event to the historical estate, which was surrounded by beautiful gardens and shady tall trees. I have always loved classic and vintage automobiles, and the annual Concours d’Elegance competition is a spectacular showcase of cars that you would never be able to see anywhere else.
This year 135 cars were entered in 15 categories, including Mercedes -Benz, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Corvette, Cadillac, Pre-War Classics, and Post-War British. This was truly an amazing event showcasing gorgeous cars and motorcycles, which was further enhanced by the elegant Greystone mansion.
