Two Great Food Events are Happening Friday! Tacos vs. Ramen — How Will You Choose?

This Friday, two of our favorite events are going head to head. The AltaMed fundraiser, East La Meets Napa Food & Wine Festival will take place Friday, July 28, 2017 in a new location at Chick Hearn Court at LA Live. This elegant event celebrates Latin food and Latino-owned vineyards in California. It’s a huge event with dozens of wineries and some of our favorite restaurants, including Chichén Itzá, El Tepeyac Cafe, Chago Tortas Ahogada, El Coraloense, Pez Cantina, and Porto’s Bakery & Cafe. We are especially excited about Humberto “The Chori-Man” Raygoza and Seta’s Chef Hugo Molina. There will be three live bands with Ozomatli headlining. Dress ranges from business casual to suits and cocktail dresses. All tickets include parking, admission to the event, an 18.2oz wine glass, wine charm and unlimited food and wine. GA Ticket $200. VIP Celebrity Lounge ticket. $300.

The 8th annual Luckyrice Feast LA is happening this Friday, July 28th from 8pm until 10pm at the gorgeous Vibiana downtown. America’s largest Asian food festival will feature celebrity chef Jet Tila, along with more than 20 participating restaurants, including “up-and-coming chefs, classic dishes, trendy pop-ups, and flavor infusions representing the Asian diaspora of Los Angeles.” Some of our favorites are Pasadena’s Southeast Asian favorite Bone Kettle, Seoul Sausage, Parks BBQ, Ramen Tatsunoya, Chef Chris Oh’s Seoul Sausage Co., and South Bay local, The Standing Room, plus our favorite snack — Crispy Tofu Balls from Starry Kitchen! Drinks include Asahi Beer and Suntory Whisky Toki. 21 and over. General Admission tickets are $88 and VIP admission tickets with early entry at 7pm are $150.
