Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Sequel” at The Hammer Museum

This Sunday, January 7th, former Vice President Al Gore will be at The Hammer Museum in Westwood for a free screening of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power. Since our current administration is hell-bent on bringing about the apocalypse, let us go and listen to a breath of fresh air – while we still have air – from the man who gave climate change its biggest spotlight with An Inconvenient Truth (David Guggenheim) in 2006. The sequel, directed by Jon Shenk and Bonni Cohen, follows Gore’s continuing work in the difficult fight to protect our environment.

There will be a Q&A with Gore after the screening, moderated by Tina Johnson of the US Climate Action Network. The free event takes place at 7:30pm at the Billy Wilder Theater inside The Hammer. Members receive priority seating and general admission tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
