what got all beat on for new year’s last night in my pedro town? the friendship bell the south korea people gave us for our two hundredth bday back in 1976 (the year us minutemen graduated from pedro high). these kind of bells get wrung not w/a clapper from the inside (it ain’t got one) but rather it gets pounded w/a log held up w/two chains. happy new year, good people!
