We Stole the Fire: Think Tank Gallery x El Silencio Mezcal Partner for Molotov Cocktail

Starting Saturday, August 4, 2018,  from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on RCNSTRCT Studio (7400 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046) you should expect an explosion of artistic expression with “We Stole the Fire” pop-up opening for a three-part immersive program that will span a 4 days total following.

Curators Think Tank Gallery and artist / creative director Phil America have teamed up with El Silencio Mescal for an art experience on Melrose creating participative activities: including, graffiti, performance art, installations with limited edition merch to inspire to conspire transmitting the revolutionary message of this unique “We Stole the Fire” experience. This will place participants at the front-line of the revolution to reclaim our imaginations with the fire of creativity and necessary social change.

There will be a fully functional Molotov cocktail vending machine on site, where you can pick up your own Molotov Cocktail for $5.00. There will be a newspaper stand nearby that has seen legendary pop-ups and murals artists like Shepard Fairey or photographer JR that has been repurposed as a lemonade stand that will be selling lighter fluid and hand carved zippo lighters.

The show will feature over 20 artist and legendary artist Robbie Conal will be leading the charge with other confirmed artist include:Phil America, Sheryo x The Yok, Lolo YS, Abars, Willie Gomez, Kristen Liu-Wong, Teddy Kelly, Deladeso, xTOFUx, Scott Hove, Homeless Cop, Gangster Doodles, Ginger Q, Nicole Salgar, Dorian Lynde, Alec DeMarco, Samuel De Angelis, Ray Young Chu, The Portalists, Jon Von Bonk and Roman Prado.

“We Stole the Fire” pop-up opening night will be Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., then continue Sunday, August 5, 2018, the revolution will continue on to August 7, 2018, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for random and engaging performances and engaging experiences you and a friend won’t soon forget.
