The Getty and Edison International present a traveling exhibit entitled “A Nation Emerges: The Mexican Revolution Revealed” at the Los Angeles Central Public Library from September 8 through June 3.
The exhibit features images chronicling the Mexican Revolution, which lasted from 1910–20, including postcards of the 1910 Fiesta del Centenario, photographs of the 1923 assassination of Pancho Villa, and this impressive shot at left of Mujeres listas para recivir a Rábago (Women ready to receive [General António] Rábago) by Walter H. Horne from 1911.
