I made this Chicken Apple Sausage Dressing for a work holiday party and they loved it. Now I am sharing the recipe with LA Beat Readers.
1 package Chicken Apple Sausage
3 Granny Smith apples
1 brown onion
1 box stuffing (I like Mrs Cubbison’s Herb Seasoned Cube Stuffing)
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Chop sausage into bite size pieces. Peel & chop apples. Chop onion. Brown sausage in a small amount of Grape Seed Oil, then add onion and apples. Continue to cook on low heat. Make stuffing according to directions on the box. Mix seasons into eggs, and add to stuffing in a large bowl. Place in greased (I like to use grape seed oil) or buttered baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes until browned on top. Serve hot and enjoy!!!
