REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask

I’m in the lucky position of having people give me product samples-chocolates, sex toys, face masks-oh, damn, now you know what my home life is like! When Laurent gave me REN samples my first thought was, “This smells like Fig Newtons,” which was a good thing, but it distracted me because 1. Fig Newtons are my favorite cookie and 2. I didn’t think anything that smelled like cookies would do much for my skin. Although figs are my favorite scent (see Philosykos), this really does smell just like Fig Newtons. So much that my dog wanted to eat it off my face. But I digress. This is a wonder product.

It promises to brighten the complexion and make it more radiant and that it does. It also makes it smooth and soft. If your skin is sensitive and you are in need of exfoliation but are wary of a peel, this is the product for you. It’s luscious. But that’s not the best part! It’s quick-ten minutes is all you need. And you know what? It has no chemicals. It’s pure and natural. It’s good for you, too. Meaning: no parabens, sulfates, petrolatum, silicones, synthetics, etc. Go for it.
