Tonight at La Luz: Christopher Urlich’s “The Christ Chronocrater Series III: The Reckoning”

I have been following artist Christopher Ulrich’s six year project a.k.a. The Demoneater Saga (not to be confused with that Twilight nonsense). This Friday night at La Luz De Jesus he will unveil the last in his series of large old master style, panel paintings aptly titled: “The Christ Chronocrater Series III: The Reckoning”.

It’s going to be another dazzling display of virtuosity from the look of things at the website. One doesn’t need to have a Catholic school education, be a master of the dark arts or have done a lot of L to get the full impact of his esoteric surrealism but it wouldn’t hurt.

The art opening is from 8 to 11pm and the show will be up all month.

There will be a lecture regarding the show by mystical artist, Myron Conan Dyal on Sunday at 6pm.
