Emmy Award-Winning Talk Show Host and Fashion Expert Tyra Banks to Host 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Pop!

When one reflects upon not only celebrities but personalities with the utmost poise, grace, and dignity in all their daytime glory; supermodel, groundbreaking talk show host and lauded entrepreneur Tyra Banks might very well come to mind. On Sunday April 26th Banks will bring all her fiercely skillful glory to the table to host the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on the Pop Network 8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm, PT.  Honors will be distributed as dictated by the votes culled from members of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and will be granted accordingly in the live televised ceremony paying tribute to over 350 of daytime television’s brightest contenders!

No stranger to the honorary Daytime television circuit herself, Banks has previously garnered two Daytime Emmy awards for The Tyra Banks Show and to top it all off, it slated to return to daytime programming in her most enthusiastically awaited new series, The FAB Life (which stands for “Fun And  Beautiful”); a talk show centering around fun and festive lifestyle choices involving food, fashion and interior design to name just a few topics. The FAB Life will begin airing this fall on ABC.

Banks’ presence and aplomb combined with celebrated Television Icon Betty White’s Lifetime Achievement Award reception is sure to afford as much giddy nostalgia and true to form fabulousness as any Daytime Emmy Award Audience could ever hope to observe!

The 42nd Annual Emmy Awards will be broadcast from the legendary Warner Brothers Studios on Stage 16 and will be produced by Michael Levitt of Michael Levitt Productions with Gary Tellalian and Mike Rothman also serving as executive producers.
