First of all, I must apologize for the reckless alliteration. We are just so excited about LA Weekly’s Burgers and Beer! Curated by award-winning Restaurant Critic Besha Rodell and Food Editor Sarah Bennett, the event is taking place at The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this Saturday, August 8th, 2015 from 3pm – 7pm.

41 restaurants, including some of our favorite burgers, will be representing. Don’t miss Cassell’s Hamburgers, Barrel & Ashes, Animal, Belcampo Meat Co., Little Dom’s, Plan Check, Bouchon Bistro, Pie n’ Burger, The Oinkster, Seoul Sausage Co., Slater’s 50/50, and The Tripel.

King Harbor Brewing Company, Anchor Brewing Company, Angel City Brewery, St. Killian Importing, MacLeod Ale, Ninkasi Brewing, Brewery Ommegang, Strand Brewing Company, Golden Road Brewing, Phantom Carriage Brewery, and Eagle Rock Brewery along with dozens more will be pulling beers.

A portion of the proceeds from this year’s Burgers & Beer event will benefit Homeboy Industries. 21+ event, General admission tickets are $75 online until August 7th at 5pm. GA tickets at the door are $80. Doors: 3:00 PM. VIP tickets are $95 online until August 7th at 5pm and $100 at the door. VIP tickets get you one hour early entry into the event at 2pm, and considering the lines and the huge number of vendors, it is really worth it to go VIP. If you don’t drink, you get in for the super-low burger-only price of $55 online until August 7th at 5pm or at the door for $60. This event has sold out in the past, so there is no guarantee tickets will be available at the door. Buy your tickets now!
