Cal Phil Presents “Sleigh Ride!” a Christmas Concert Spectacular!

Saturday December 12, 2015, the California Philharmonic, under the guiding hand of Maestro Victor Vener will present “Sleigh Ride!,” a Christmas concert spectacular, at The Pasadena Civic Auditorium starting at 7pm. Helping them usher in the holidays will be Mary Bridget Davies, Cedric Berry And The Cal Phil Chorale led by Chorus Maestra Marya Basaraba. The holiday concert is the first event in Cal Phil’s 20th Anniversary Season.

Joining the orchestra will be dancers and choreographers from “the nine time Emmy Award winning hit television show So You Think You Can Dance,” including Season 9 runner-up Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer, James “B-Dash” Derrick, and Kevin “Konkrete” Davis, all of whom are appearing in association with Lythgoe Family Productions….The three multi-talented dancers/choreographers are joining the orchestra as they dance to the March, Sugar Plum Fairy, Chocolate and Trepak movements of the Nutcracker.” “I am most looking forward to performing to Sugar Plum Fairy,” shared B-Dash  Our choreography incorporates different movements that the audience won’t expect but will enjoy thoroughly”
