Here’s something cool to do this weekend if you love rock music and are prone to taking a trip down memory lane (or as it’s known in the annals of rock; Laurel Canyon). Legendary author, celebrity groupie, and music lover Pamela Des Barres will give you a guided tour through the spots that were made famous by the many musicians who’ve inhabited Los Angeles.
The tour visits many of the sites detailed in her best-selling book, “I’m With The Band.” Miss Pamela has “known” many famous musicians, and her book was a great read, a real tell-all. The tour starts at Amoeba records in Hollywood Sunday the 22nd at 12:30 and lasts four hours. On the tour, Miss Pamela stops and reads passages from her book and of course gives her unique take on it all.
