Death Valley Girls Record Release Show at The Echo 11.30.18

The Death Valley Girls have just released their fantastic new album “Darkness Rains”, and tonight we all celebrated at The Echo. I was late (I was busy eating a plate of fish sticks on my living room floor while watching TV), so unfortunately, I missed Adult Parts and Secret Stare. Luckily, I got there just in time to see Salt Lick. They just might end up being my new favorite band. A loud blast of heavy, psychedelic-tinged jams. I loved them, and can’t wait to see them again.

Death Valley Girls hit the stage next, and delivered a powerful, solid set. “Darkness Rains” is on my top 10 favorite albums of 2018 list, and it was awesome hearing the new songs played loud and live. I’ve seen Death Valley Girls many times in the past, and they always put on a great show, but they went on to a higher plateau tonight. They just keep getting better and better, and I’m sure you’ll agree with me after you hear the new album. Enjoy the photos!
