Starting at NOON today, December 9, 2018, North Hollywood tiki bar, Tonga Hut, will be holding a holiday tiki fair in their parking lot. I am going to assume that the 13 refers to how many years this fair has been going and not “M,” the 13th letter in the alphabet meaning “marijuana” or indicating a rogue tiki gang (They kicked my ass, but they sure were colorful!”). Multitudinous vendors include Ms. Formaldehyde, Tiki Swag, Ron Monster, Stilettoed Devil, Azteeki Arcade, Jungle Modern Ceramics, Black Cat Atomic Treasures, Meteor Jewelry, Islanders Trading, and Sweet Siren Designs. DJ Tonga Tom will be spinning holiday tunes outside, and at 6 p.m. DJ Lady Mo will be spinning inside. Food will be available from Durangos Tacos. Best of all, you can get yourself a Zombie or a big Scorpion Bowl right there!
