Compress Collide on Livation Wednesday, 5/29/19

Up this week on Livation is Compress Collide, a band that has been described as “treading the boundary between garage-y and tight, barreling through their meticulously crafted arrangement with reckless abandon.” – their Facebook page

Compress Collide is Adam Bones, (The Two Tens) on Guitar and vocals, Nate Light on bass and vocals and Brandon Dickert on drums. They are all also in Save Ferris and decided to do a side project themselves. Started in the Fall of 2018, they are a band to keep an eye out for.

“There’s a little Hüsker Dü-era punk in trio’s first single “I Don’t Belong Here” a cry to break free of society’s shackles. It’s a familiar sound of rebellion, and considering what the world is throwing at us these days, a still-welcome one.” – Buzzbands.la

Compress Collide goes on between 12:15 -12:30 a.m. with an on-air interview to follow. Livation is every Wednesday at midnight (technically Thursday mornings 12:00am)  Listen live at 88.9fm, on the KXLU phone app or stream it live at kxlu.com
