Tonight the R&R Gallery Downtown is opening the group show “Willie and Snoop” focusing on two iconoclastic icons — Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson.
They got the braids, they got the endo, you just bring your grooving self — and maybe 5 to 10 bucks to pick up BBQ sandwiches from Smokin Willie’s BBQ truck which will also be on hand (No relation).
Expect art showing Snoop and Willie as single subjects, and morphed together in a number of interesting permutations.
The gallery website asks, “What? You didn’t know they were best friends? Honestly, neither did we at first…Come out and see what we’ve baked up this time. We’re pretty high about it. And don’t hate….
