What could be better than a Slaw Dog? Two Slaw Dogs? Nope. Three Slaw Dogs! Owner Ray Byrne is readying to open a second location in Woodland Hills in the next few weeks followed by a third location in Duarte. Less than 2 years after we first fell in love with the original dog, the family joint is already poised to dominate the LA hot dog scene. Stay tuned for updates.
Pictured above is a frequent special, the Sonoran Dog, a bacon-wrapped Vienna wiener with black beans, sour cream, pico de gallo, garlic mayo and mustard. Another exciting new menu item I have yet to try is sweet potato fries topped with kimchi, bacon, a fried egg and spicy sesame mayo. Now if I could only get a Sonoran Dog topped with kimchi Fries…
