Subliminal Projects’ Eve: Revolutionary Female Artists

Subliminal Projects Gallery in Echo Park presents Eve beginning Saturday, July 23rd through August 20th. The exhibition features works by revolutionary female artists from the 1970s to the present in a tribute to equality. Interpretations of femininity are explored by artists Judy Chicago, Mary Beth Edelson, Kim McCarty, Ayanah Moor, Alex Prager, Lisa Steele, Swoon, Stella Vine and Hannah Wilke.

A reception for the artists will be held on July 23rd from 8-11p.m with music by Special DJ Sosupersam. Valet parking. Wine provided by Bear Flag.

Subliminal Projects began as an artist collective in 1995, created by Shepard Fairey and Blaze Blouin. The collective helped to introduce skateboarding culture and design to the art world.  1331 W. Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026.
