This recently spuced up mural on Highland near Melrose bears the trademarks of street artist, album designer and protaganist/antagonist of Exit Through the Gift Shop, Mr. Brainwash. Not only does it include his previous work of Einstein, but bears his signature phrase, “Life is beautiful”. According to Melrose & Fairfax, the mural has been up for about a month.
Mr. Brainwash, aka. Thierry Guetta, will be opening Art Show 2011, over Christmas in an 80,000 square foot building in Los Angeles. December 22nd be sure to be in line by 3pm for a preview “The first 300 people through the doors on the 22nd will receive a special edition print that will be numbered, hand-finished, thumb printed and signed by the artist (Artlyst).
