Amnesty International‘s Secret Policeman’s Ball, “an irreverently hilarious salute to free speech and Amnesty International’s life-saving human rights work”, will be streaming live from New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Sunday March 4th at 4pm PT. The comedy and music event will feature appearances by Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, Russell Brandt, Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, David Cross, Fred Armisen, and Statler and Waldorf (the hecklers) from The Muppets!
Amnesty is also holding a sweepstakes for two tickets to the ball, complete with airline tickets and two nights accommodation, which you can enter through their Facebook.
According to their website, Amnesty International is the world’s largest grassroots human rights organization, working to protect people “wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied.” A Nobel Peace Prize winning group, Amnesty “investigates and exposes abuses, educates and mobilizes the public, and helps transform societies to create a safer, more just world.”
