The 12th annual Tiki Oasis is poised to descend upon San Diego once again. This year the theme is “Exotic Espionage and Polynesian Pulp.” There will be an additional night of entertainment on Sunday night featuring the magic of current Magic Castle “Stage Magician of the Year”, Rob Zabrecky and two sets of song stylings by the velvet-suited Casino Royale.
Other events during the 4-day shindig include symposiums, films, live bands and art exhibits. Sign us up for “The Amazing World of Rum!” Plus there’s more! Guitar lessons, book signings, a tour of San Diego and a car show. The weekend opens with a mix and mingle night Thursday at Bali Hai restaurant with emcee King Kukulele. two full sets by The Tikiyaki Orchestra featuring Marina the Fire Eating Mermaid plus Burlesque Interlude.
A full weekend wristband is only $95 for access to all of the entertainment, though you can buy event tickets separately if you prefer. The VIP pass that includes all symposiums as well is $230. Rooms are available at The Crowne Plaza, King’s Inn, and Handlery Hotel.
