Self-Help Graphics has a big weekend planned both Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. On Saturday they are hosting Monstruos del Print: a kamikaze-style printmaking feria, featuring printmaking demos and print sales with some of the best printmakers in Los Angeles including Pat Payne and Sticky Rick. Plus works on sale by Talacha Press, Triludico and Tropico. Check out the stencil art, sticker art and T-shirt designs. Sales benefit Self Help. Don’t miss the vegan pozole!
Sunday is their Annual Holiday Craft and Art Fair. Featuring “high quality crafts and fine art from local vendors and artists, and prints from Self Help Graphics & Arts print collection!” If it is anything like the crafts I have bought at their annual Dia de los Muertos celebration, it is definitely not to be missed. Irene Diaz will be giving a special performance.
